This policy explains what information Patriot Hill Software LLC (“we”) collects through patriothillsoftware.com and how we use it. We designed this website to collect as little information as possible.
What we do not collect
- We do not use cookies.
- We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
- We do not load scripts, fonts or other content from third-party services.
Information you send us
When you request a consultation or email us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, work email, phone number, organization, job title, area of interest and message. We use it only to respond to you and to discuss the work you asked about.
Consultation requests are delivered to us by email through Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES). The service that processes the form records a request identifier and whether delivery succeeded; it does not record the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider (Amazon CloudFront) records standard access logs, which include your IP address, the pages requested, the time of the request and your browser’s user-agent string. We use these logs only for security, troubleshooting and capacity planning, and we delete them automatically after 90 days.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with service providers that operate this website and our email on our behalf (Amazon Web Services and Microsoft), when required by law, or to protect the security of our systems.
How long we keep information
Access logs are deleted after 90 days. We keep consultation requests and related correspondence for up to three years after our last contact with you, then delete them, unless we need them longer for an active engagement or to meet a legal obligation.
Security
This website is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Its storage is private and is not directly accessible from the internet. Please do not send passwords or sensitive records through the contact form or by email.
Your choices
You may ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing contact@patriothillsoftware.com.
We will respond to these requests within 45 days and will not treat you differently for making one.
California residents
We are based in California. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in California law, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. California residents may use the choices above to ask what personal information we have collected about them, and to have it corrected or deleted.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. This website does not track visitors over time or across other websites, so it has no tracking for these browser signals to turn off. It works the same way whether or not your browser sends them.
Children
This website is intended for businesses and public agencies, not for children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and post the revised policy on this page.
